Man slashed across the neck at Langley 7-11

One man was taken to hospital with a superficial neck wound after he was slashed in a fight outside the 7-11 in Langley Thursday night.

RCMP say two men in their early 20’s got into a fight outside the convenience store at 40th Ave. and 200th Street in the Brookswood neighbourhood.

Punches were exchanged and one of the men pulled a knife.

The victim suffered a 3-4 inch slash wound to the neck and was taken to hospital. Police say he is not cooperating with investigators.

The suspect is described as an early 20’s Caucasian male, wearing a black t-shirt with red writing, and a black ball cap.
