CALGARY- Police are trying to track down a man who groped a woman on the University of Calgary campus.
Just before 7 p.m. on Wednesday, an 18-year-old woman was walking on the east side of the campus when she was approached by a man. He grabbed her wrists and shoulders, then forcibly hugged her and refused to let her go.
The woman was eventually able to get away, and the suspect ran in the opposite direction.
He’s described as being between 22 and 25 years old, about 5’5” tall with a slim build. He has black hair, brown eyes and had stubble on his face. At the time of the incident he was wearing a bright green T-shirt and dark-coloured cargo shorts.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
