WATCH ABOVE: A look at what is new at the PNE this year
VANCOUVER – The 104th Fair at the PNE gets underway on Saturday and there’s many new exhibits and shows to see.
Get Animated is just one of the new exhibits. Major studios, including DreamWorks, Sony Pictures and Walt Disney have some original items on display where you’re sure to catch your favourite characters.
There are also five interactive stations where the young and old and get a hands-on experience at animation.
The PNE Concert Series is back and one of the highlights is expected to be Revolver – the Beatles tribute band.
It is no accident they will be performing on Aug. 22.
“The show here is on the exact date that they appeared, Aug. 22, coming up this year at 7:30,” said Red Robinson.
The Summer Night Concert Series will also feature artists such as Boyz II Men, Leann Rimes and Air Supply.
The Game of Thrones exhibit will also be making its debut at the fair. With nearly 1,000 original artifacts, fans can sit on the Iron Throne and take part in the interactive Oculus Rift 4 D Experience.
This is just a sample of what is included in the price of admission at the PNE this year.
