Baby and woman hit by truck, flown to Edmonton hospital

EDMONTON – A woman and an infant were flown to an Edmonton hospital Monday night after being hit by a truck in Fort McMurray.

Police say the collision happened when two women were pushing a baby carriage across an intersection.

One of the women and the baby were taken to a local hospital before being flown to an Edmonton hospital.

There’s no word on the condition of the injured or whether the driver will be charged.
