TORONTO — Movies starring Kristen Wiig, Morgan Freeman, John Travolta, Diane Keaton, Dustin Hoffman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Josh Hutcherson and Adam Sandler have been added to the line-up at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
Organizers announced Tuesday that Wiig’s dark comedy Welcome to Me and Simon Pegg’s Kill Me Three Times will have their world premieres at the festival.
Also debuting is Boychoir with Hoffman and Kathy Bates; Escobar: Paradise Lost with Benicio Del Toro and Hutcherson; The Forger with Travolta and Toronto’s Christopher Plummer; and Ruth & Alex with Freeman and Keaton.
Keira Knightley and Sam Rockwell will showcase Laggies at TIFF and Schwarzenegger and Abigail Breslin will be at the festival for Maggie.
Also screening are Sandler’s The Cobbler and Mark Ruffalo in Infinitely Polar Bear as well as new films starring Mia Wasikowska, Paul Giamatti, Rhys Ifans, Ezra Miller, Danny Glover, Ray Liotta and Marion Cotillard.
TIFF runs Sept. 4-14.
