VANCOUVER – An arrest warrant remains in effect for a man wanted in connection to the double homicide of two men and the attempted murder of a woman inside a Chilliwack home on Aug. 7.

Thirty-three-year-old Aaron James David Douglas is wanted Canada-wide. He has a criminal record dating back to 1996 and is believed to be armed and dangerous.

“[The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team] IHIT is asking the public to be vigilant and call 911 if you know the whereabouts of Aaron Douglas,” said Staff Sergeant Jennifer Pound. “Do not approach him or attempt to apprehend him yourself as he may be armed and dangerous.”

The two homicide victims have been identified as 38-year-old Richard Blackmon and 36-year-old Tyler Belcourt.  IHIT said the female victim will not be identified.
