Firefighters are battling a fire on a rural property on the Surrey-Langley border this afternoon.
The fire appears to have started outside a barn, where the property owner was working on his car at the time of the incident.

The fire spread to the barn and jumped the fence onto the neighbor’s property.
Witnesses say they heard what could have been many as five explosions believed to be propane tanks on the property.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
At this point, the fire appears to be out.
