One of the residents of the building, Dianna Fall, told Global News she could not believe her eyes on Thursday when she saw a woman, bleeding, and screaming for help in the middle of the night.

“I just can’t get this image out of my head,” said Fall. “I’m scared for my life.”

“She had mentioned when she was in the hallway she was shot as she was sleeping. But she managed to come over and knock on my door and she said ‘can you phone 9-1-1?'”

Moments later police descended on the complex and inside the young woman’s apartment they found two men who had been shot to death.

Friends and family have identified one of the victims as Rich Blackman and people have been leaving messages of condolences on social media.

One of his friends told Global News they are in shock at what happened and that Rich was visiting the woman and her boyfriend when the shooting occurred.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is not releasing any details about the triple shooting, but one source told Global News he saw two women and three men fleeing the apartment shortly after the shooting.

They allegedly left through the front door.

The one survivor remains in hospital and friends and family are praying for her recovery.

The manhunt continues for those responsible.

IHIT is asking anyone who was in the area between 3:30 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. on August 7, and may have witnessed something to contact their tipline (1-877-551-4448) or CrimeStoppers 1-800-222-8477.
