TORONTO — Barbra Streisand joined Instagram this week.
As of Friday morning, the ultimate diva had only one post — a professionally-shot photo of herself with her beloved Coton de Tuléar.
“Isn’t my Samantha just precious?” Streisand wrote in her debut post.
The 72-year-old Instagram newbie racked up nearly 20,000 followers in her first 48 hours.
Streisand’s fans are welcoming her to the social media tool.
“Oh Barbra you are a goddess who walks among us,” wrote one.
“You look amazing ! & girl I can honestly say your (sic) fashion is bang on!” another declared.
Streisand has been on Twitter since 2009 and currently has about 327,000 followers.
Streisand has a long way to go to catch up to Justin Bieber, who currently has 19.5 million Instagram followers, and Katy Perry, who has 6.6 million.
