The 112th Interior Provincial Exhibition starts Wednesday in Armstrong.
The 5-day event had record attendance last year and falls on the last long weekend of the summer this year.
The parade starts at 10 a.m. Saturday and over 100 entries are expected.
There is also road construction on Highway 97A, the main highway to Armstrong, so expect traffic delays or take one of the following alternate routes.
#1, Heading north on Highway 97A
• Take Otter Lake Cross Road /Larkin Cross Road Exit off Highway 97A.

• Go around the first traffic circle; exit the second circle at the Otter Lake Cross Road.
• Follow Otter Lake Cross Road, then turn right onto Otter Lake Road.
• Carry on to the Otter Lake/IPE Parking Lot. If it is full then, follow Otter Lake Road to Wood Avenue. Turn right, drive to the Rotary Parking Lot.
If you miss the Otter Lake Road/Larkin turn off then proceed to the next exit.
#2, Heading north on Highway 97A
• Turn left, off Highway 97A, at the Spallumcheen Industrial Park onto Spallumcheen Road, then turn left onto Crozier Road. Turn right onto Otter Lake Cross Road, then right onto Otter Lake Road. Carry on to the Otter Lake Parking Lot.
The fall fair and rodeo will showcase a number of musical acts, and local Okanagan bands, and this year a third stage has been added to the Exhibition as well.
For the animal lovers, there is the Sheep Dog Demo, Dog Agility and Lllama Agility this year as well.
The IPE runs from August 31st to Sunday September 4th.
