Police believe suspect fled shooting in Saskatoon

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are investigating shooting that happened Tuesday morning.

Around 9:15 a.m., police were called to the 200-block of Avenue I South after receiving a report of a person hearing a single gunshot.

No one was found to be injured.

Police found evidence of a firearm being discharged at the scene. Forensic identification officers were called in to help with the investigation.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene for outstanding warrants.

Investigators believe another suspect fled in a vehicle.
