Shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday, Selkirk RCMP along with local fire and EMS crews responded to a fatal collision at Lyall Drive and River Road in the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews.
The initial investigation indicates that a motorcycle turned a corner and struck a parked vehicle.

The 26-year-old Winnipeg man driving the bike was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The 20-year-old female passenger, also from Winnipeg, succumbed to her injuries.
One helmet was located at the scene. It isn’t known who was wearing the helmet.
Speed is considered a factor in the collision. Alcohol is not.
A RCMP Collision Analyst is assisting with the investigation. The name of the deceased will not be released. The investigation continues.
