TORONTO – One of Toronto’s major waterfront arteries will be closed for part of the weekend for the Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Parade.
The Saturday event will shut down Lake Shore Boulevard from Colborne Lodge Drive to Strachan Avenue from 12:01 a.m. Saturday until 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
Toronto police have also released a list of road closures on the day of the carnival.
The following Gardiner Expressway ramps will be closed at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014:
– Eastbound Gardiner Expressway exit to Jameson Avenue
– Jameson Avenue and British Columbia Road entrance ramps to eastbound Gardiner Expressway
– Westbound Gardiner Expressway to Dunn Avenue exit ramp
The following road closures will start at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014:
– Westbound Lake Shore Boulevard West will be closed to traffic from Strachan Avenue to Parkside Drive
– Eastbound Lake Shore Boulevard West will be closed from Colborne Lodge to Strachan Avenue
– Dufferin Street south of Springhurst Avenue
