PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – A 40-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting incident in Peterborough, Ont.
Police say officers who responded to an apartment complex in the Hunter Street and Armour Road area just before 6 p.m. Monday found a man in the second-floor hallway suffering from a gunshot wound.

The man was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, then airlifted to St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto for treatment.
Police are looking for three or four suspects who were seen driving away from the area in an older model dark sedan, possibly a black 1980s Buick.
