EDMONTON – Check your calendars because Monday, July 28, 2014 is officially Corb Lund Day.

Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans‘ willingness to perform a make-up concert at the Interstellar Rodeo was reason enough for the City of Edmonton to grant him his own day.

The Alberta-born performer was set to headline the music festival on Friday night, but severe weather conditions caused the concert to be cancelled.

With the help of Lund, and a list of other performers, the Interstellar Rodeo was able to create a make-up concert on Monday night with a brand new music lineup.

According to All Access Entertainment, it was Lund’s attitude and participation that set the tone for numerous other participants to pull through, including food trucks, drink vendors, music and sound teams.
