Two boys died after being thrown from a tractor in rural Saskatchewan

REGINA – Two boys from Ravenscrag, Saskatchewan have died after a tractor rolled over on Wednesday night.

A 16-year-old and a 10-year-old boy were driving a four-wheel-drive tractor towing a baler down a grid road. The tractor went off the road and entered a ditch which was very steep and rough.

The 10-year-old was ejected from the tractor, and then the tractor entered a ravine and the 16-year-old was also ejected.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The names of the deceased will not be released.
