EDMONTON – Three men are facing charges after numerous drugs, cash and replica firearms were seized from a Red Deer property last week.
On Thursday, July 17, police searched a residence and truck in Red Deer’s Kentwood neighbourhood.
Officers say they found numerous controlled substances that had been packaged for resale, including:
Several grams of heroin
39 grams of cocaine
13 grams of methamphetamine
15 Oxycodone tablets
500 ml of GHB (also known as the date rape drug)
Several grams of heroin
Over 1,000 assorted pills that have yet to be identified
Police also seized three canisters of mace, three replica firearms and over $3,000.
Three men were taken into custody.
David Clark, 33, has been charged with several drug trafficking-related offences. He has also been charged with three counts of possession of a prohibited device and six counts of possession of a prohibited weapon while prohibited from doing so.
Clark is scheduled to appear in court on July 24.
The other men’s names and charges have not yet been released.
