REGINA – A Regina woman is hoping someone will pay up for the damage done to her vehicle that she believes came from a road construction project.
Kelsey Brown says she and a passenger were driving south on Ring Road Sunday when her sunroof shattered above their heads.
“We drove under the bridge and there was an explosion of glass. We realized a piece of concrete had fallen off the bridge and smashed my sunroof,” said Brown.
Based on the book value of her 2002 Chevy Cavalier, she believes S-G-I would simply write-off her vehicle, rather than foot the bill for a costly sunroof repair.
But Brown says the incident wasn’t her fault and she shouldn’t lose her car over it.
“I just want it fixed. That’s it, and I don’t want it to happen to anyone else – if it would have been a convertible or a biker, somebody could be dead,” emphasized Brown.
