WINNIPEG-High winds kept city crews from finishing up mosquito fogging efforts in Winnipeg’s south and west areas, so they’re hoping to make up for it Sunday.
From 9:30 p.m. Sunday to 6:30 a.m. Monday crews will be spraying malathion to kill the insects. Affected residents are encouraged to close their windows. Tonight, efforts will focus on neighbourhoods around Waverley West, Fort Richmond and the Mint. Once crews finish up what they were supposed to complete Saturday, they will move on to neighbourhoods closer to the center of the city including Osborne and St. Boniface.
