Weather Update: Friday July 18th 5am
With active fires in the area over the past several days, many are wondering when the extreme heat will cease.
The good news is that temperatures will return back to seasonal and into the mid to upper 20’s this weekend; however the chance of showers is slight at around 30% for Saturday and Sunday.
Where we will see a greater chance of showers is through the Shuswap and Columbia regions.
The long range charts do hint at a stronger system moving in the middle of next week. Because we are still days away from this possible weather event, the confidence is still low but we will keep you posted as new model data comes in.
Friday’s Temperature: 24 to 32C
