LETHBRIDGE – A Lethbridge man is facing a long list of charges after being caught with thousands of dollars worth of stolen property.
On Thursday members of the ALERT Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU), with help from the Lethbridge Regional Police Service Priority Crimes Unit and Patrol Section, executed a search warrant at J and H Contracting along the 800 block of 30 Street North.
Officers found close to $60,000 worth of stolen property, including a stolen vehicle, tires, tools, electronics, as well as a firearm and ammunition.
54-year-old Joseph Alain Hudon is charged with two counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000, breach of a recognizance, possession of a firearm without a license and careless storage of a firearm.
Hudon is scheduled to appear in court on August 8.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected.
