CALGARY – A serious crash on Deerfoot Trail on Tuesday caused the morning commute to be slowed to a crawl for hundreds of drivers.
It happened on southbound Deerfoot Trail just south of the 8th Avenue flyover, around 7:30 a.m.

A car rolled several times before crashing into the median, and coming to rest on its roof.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene. The driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash caused the temporary closure of the left-hand lane of southbound Deerfoot Trail.
