MONTREAL – Montreal police have arrested three suspects after an apparent heist at a TD Bank in Kirkland.
According to police, four armed men entered the bank on the corner of Saint-Charles Boulevard and Barry Street at 12:30 p.m Saturday.
Montreal police spokesperson Danny Richer said the suspects made their way on foot to two nearby getaway cars.
The first suspect was arrested near the bank just a few minutes after the robbery.
Witnesses on the scene gave police an accurate description of the vehicles and an hour later, police intercepted two other suspects in a car.

Police found the second getaway car parked outside an apartment building.
“Investigators think the last suspect is inside that residence,” Richer said.
“Since a firearm was used in the robbery, the SWAT team will intervene.”
The men did not fire their weapons during the robbery and there were no injuries.
All the money stolen has been recovered.
