Weather update: Friday July 11th 4:30pm
Some people love this heat, other people hate this heat… and whether or not you welcome the 30C+ weather, this is what Mother Nature has in store for us this weekend in the Southern Interior.
Although we will be mostly sunny on Saturday, there will be a slight change for Sunday and Monday.
Still sun in the mix on Sunday and Monday, but a few more clouds are expected with a slim chance of an isolated shower as an upper shortwave trough moves through our region.
Temperatures however will remain hot for the next 5 days or so.
There is still some uncertainty about exactly how hot it will get, but some areas will be close to record highs and hit the upper 30’s.
Latest weather models are suggesting that the broad upper ridge over Western Canada will break down next Thursday, bringing the temperatures back close to seasonal by the next weekend.
Have a great weekend.
Saturday’s High: 30 to 38C
Sunday’s High: 31 to 39C
