A 62-year-old north Okanagan man and former RCMP officer has died after being involved in a motorcycle accident Tuesday in northern California.
The California Highway Patrol says Blair David Imrie of Coldstream was killed after losing control of his bike on a curve.

According to police he was traveling too fast for road conditions and drove into a culvert drainage ditch before hitting a rock embankment.
Imrie was ejected. The motorcycle came to rest on top of him.
Imrie retired from the RCMP last year.
