Downtown Winnipeg shooting leaves man in critical condition

Shaun McLeod / Global NewsWINNIPEG – Police responding to a report of a fight heard the shots that critically injured a man downtown at about 1:15 a.m. Thursday.
A man with gunshot wounds was taken to hospital in critical condition, police said.
Police arrested two people without incident at the scene near the intersection of Graham Avenue and Carlton Street, they said.
Several people are being interviewed by police and the incident is being investigated by the major crimes unit, a news release issued by police said.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call police at 204-986-6219.
The name of the man who was shot has not been released.
