HALIFAX – Police in Halifax say a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in the Williams Lake area.
Investigators say officers were called to Williams Lake Road Sunday night after reports that a man had been shot.
Police say a 46-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, although he is now in stable condition.
Officers searched the area and arrested five people without incident.
Four people were released from custody and one 20-year-old man is facing a slew of charges including attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
He’s expected to appear in court Monday.
