MONTREAL – Shortly after one o’clock Saturday morning, Montreal police received a 911 call from the Camilen-Houde belvedere on Mount Royal, notifying them that gunshots had been heard.
Police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Brabant told Global News that police where unable to locate a victim or a suspect upon arrival at the scene of the alleged shooting.
It was only later, after a second 911 call was made from hospital, that police were able to locate the victim; a 15 year-old with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Montreal police investigators were able to speak to the teen but state the he was uncooperative.
The victim was subsequently arrested for breach of conditions.
