39-year-old woman found dead in Campbell River home

RCMP in Campbell River are investigating the homicide of a 39-year-old woman.

Police say they were called to a home on Eardley Road after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

At the home, police were met by a 19-year-old woman and 24-year-old man.

The man was airlifted to hospital in Victoria with undisclosed injuries. The woman was taken into police custody.

Police say since the investigation is still in its early stages, no additional information can be released at this time.
