VANCOUVER – Search and Rescue crews have been called in to look for a missing Powell River resident, not seen since Sunday, June 29.
RCMP say Shawn Ian Gentry was last seen that day at 2 p.m. as he left on foot from a family member’s home near Eagle River in the Stillwater area.
Crews have been conducting an extensive ground search of the area after he was reported missing on Monday, June 30, at 9 p.m.
Police Air Services and Police Dog Service also attended immediately to assist with the ground and air search.
Gentry is described as Caucasian, 45 years old, 6ft tall, with dark hair and facial hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
