OSOYOOS — It’s the 66th Cherry Fiesta, and it’s wetter than ever.
The party kicks off with a water gun fight between Home Hardware’s army of kids, and the Osoyoos and Anarchist Mountain firefighters.

After the participants get drenched, the parade follows.
Osoyoos also boasts of its spectacular fireworks show, which is the second largest on Canada Day.
Local merchants leave donation jars in their shops to fundraise for the annual display. This year, $70,000 was raised.
