MONTREAL – Police on the South Shore made seven arrests in Brossard and St. Hubert in a marijuana and cocaine trafficking crackdown.
Longueuil police spokesperson Jean-Pierre Voutsinos told Global News that the investigation into the criminal organization began in March.

“Seven arrests have been made,” he confirmed.
“Five men and two women between the ages of 19 and 45.”
Investigators are expected to meet with the suspects, who could be formally charged by Friday.
