EDMONTON – A 27-year-old man is in hospital following a stabbing in downtown Edmonton early Sunday morning.
Police were called to a disturbance outside the Druid Irish Pub, at 116 St. and Jasper Ave., shortly after 2 a.m.

Police say they found the victim suffering from a stab wound.
He was taken to the University of Alberta Hospital where he had surgery. Police say his injuries are not life-threatening.
A suspect has been taken into custody.
