VERNON — RCMP and Vernon fire crews are investigating yet another suspicious fire.

This the latest in a string of nearly 20 fires in the North Okanagan in the past two months.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

It happened just after 1 a.m. at 6020 Okanagan Landing Road.

The fire started in the wheel well of an RV, which was sitting in a storage compound.

The compound has various boats, vehicles and RV’s stored there and the fire did spread to a nearby pickup before it was extinguished.

Fire officials say there are similarities between this fire and the others set in and around Vernon in recent weeks.

Anyone who may have witnessed the fire is asked to call police.
