Imagine the surprise of a Burnaby couple, who spotted what they thought was a cougar behind their home.
They saw the animal around 5:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 21 in the back alley behind their apartment on Newton Street just off Royal Oak.
Jason McIntyre says he heard the crows going crazy, and when he looked outside he spotted what he thought was a cougar.
McIntyre says he called police, who he says didn’t believe him until he showed them his video.
