ANTIGONISH, N.S. – Police in Nova Scotia have charged a 36-year-old man with uttering threats to cause death to a police officer and to a local Crown prosecutor in Antigonish.
The man was arrested after a fight at an Antigonish restaurant.
Investigators say while the man was being held in cells he threatened to kill officers, the local Crown and to burn down the detachment.
Police spokeswoman Const. Catherine Bezaire says the man also threatened to harm the children of local RCMP officers.
The man is expected in provincial court on Friday.
