KELOWNA — A big apology from FortisBC in anticipation of some big power outages.
The utility company says there are three planned outages over the next three days.
The first one happens Thursday from Clifton Road north of Rio Drive and the northern half of Magic Estates between 9 and noon.
The second outage takes place Friday and Saturday on Ethel St, Laurier Avenue, Gagnon Place, Gordon Drive, Harvey Avenue, Saucier Avenue, Leon Avenue and Lawrence Avenue affecting 280 customers between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
The third also happens on Saturday, affecting more than 230 customers on Fuller Avenue, Bertram Street, St-Paul Street and Doyle Avenue between 4 a.m. And 6 a.m.
FortisBC says the outages are required for construction and that it apologizes for the inconvenience.
