OLIVER — It didn’t take long for the authorities to catch up with an alleged liquor store robber wanted in the south Okanagan.
The man was wanted in connection with the robbery of Spud’s Liquore Store in Oliver last Sunday.
The suspect, who was wearing a mask, fled on foot with some cash.
The robbery was caught on video and may have helped in the investigation.
They say several law enforcement branches banded together in identifying the man.
Today, RCMP say they arrested a 41-year-old Summerland man. The man’s name has not been released.
The suspect has been released pending his next court appearance.
