H. S. Paul School is helping celebrate the heroes of recycling.
A class of grade ones and twos used their forces of good to battle the evil Garbage Man in a video entered in the Global Winnipeg Recycle Everywhere contest.
Students in the class starred as pint-sized heroes, fighting to make sure empty beverage containers are recycled instead of tossed in the trash.
Global’s Morning News is broadcasting live from H.S. Paul School on Friday morning as part of the contest prize. Students are also headed to a Goldeyes baseball game later this month with free tickets, food and snacks.
