Some Stawnichy’s beef jerky, soup products recalled

EDMONTON – A number of Stawnichy’s Meat Processing beef jerky products have been recalled due to undeclared wheat, mustard, soy and sulphites.

People with allergies to wheat, mustard, or soy should not consume the recalled products, nor should be people with a sensitivity to sulphites, according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

The following products, which are sold in Alberta, have been recalled:

A couple of Stawnichy’s soup products have also been recalled because they contain milk, wheat and soy which are not declared on the label:

Consumers who are unsure if they have purchased the affected products are advised to contact their retailer.
