CALGARY – Police are hunting for a suspect after a man working at a downtown hotel was attacked overnight.
It happened at the Regency Suites Hotel, located in the 600 block of 4th Avenue S.W.

Police say a man walked into the lobby around 2:30 a.m. and hit a hotel worker in the head with a metal pipe.
The suspect then ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The victim was taken to hospital suffering from minor injuries.
Police are looking for man about 6 feet tall, wearing a purple hoodie, black pants and white runners.
His face was covered with a scarf.
