Another suspicious fire in Vernon area

VERNON — Vernon-area RCMP are investigating another fire.

The latest one happened shortly after midnight Wednesday morning in the 7800-block of Graystone Drive in Coldstream where the contents of a dumpster were on fire.

The bin was filled with construction material and took some time to extinguish.

Police say the fire is considered suspicious but it’s not known if it’s related to a series of arsons in the Vernon area.

So far, there have been 14 suspicious fires in the Vernon area in recent weeks.
