We’ll be keeping a close eye on the ongoing situation in Moncton. Reporter Shelley Steves will be live with updates from Moncton throughout the morning.

And Ray Bradshaw will also have a story about a Halifax war vet who will be marking the 70th anniversary of Dday.

The folks with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia are going back in time tonight. At 7:45 we’ll get-down and talk with the organizers of the fifth annual Carnivale AGNS: Studio 54 fundraiser.

On Saturday Halifax will be the latest Canadian city to join new movement called 100 in 1 Day, a non-profit organization founded in Bogota in 2012 to celebrate civic groups and communities. At 8:15 we’ll talk with the organizers of the local event to find out how our community will celebrate.

At 8:45 we’ll talk with the last finalist in the Casino Nova Scotia Artist in Residence contest. Paul will chat with a folk group representing Cape Breton. Pretty Archie will stop by and tell us all about their journey to become the first artist in residence.
