TORONTO – Peel Regional Police have located the mother of a young girl who was found wandering alone near a major intersection in Brampton.
Police picked up the child a few minutes before 11:30 a.m. Monday, as the two- or three-year-old was wandering near Bovaird Drive and Creditview Road.

The young girl is described as black and wearing a blue track suit a maroon-coloured jacket.
The child wasn’t hurt and it’s still unclear why she is alone.
Police found the girl’s mother roughly an hour later and reunited the two.
