COLDSTREAM, B.C. — The investigation continues into what caused a mobile home to go up in flames in a Coldstream trailer park Friday, but fire officials don’t believe the blaze is suspicious.
It happened in the Kalview Trailer Park in the 85-hundred block of Clerke Road at around 9 a.m.
“We’re fairly confident it’s not suspicious,” says Shane Code with the Coldstream Volunteer Fire Department, “we believe the area of origin was in the front of the building in the living room.”
Friday’s blaze is the latest in a string of fires in the North Okanagan.
Upwards of 13 fires, many deemed suspicious, have sparked in the month of May.
