The Nova Scotia Conservancy of Canada will be running the second community even of the season in Nova Scotia this weekend. Volunteers are needed to help with the fourth annual Buckthorn Beatdown at the Pubwash Estuary. The Buckthorn is an invasive species that is slowly taking over the natural habitat of the area. At 645 we’ll talk with a coordinator of this weekend’s event.
