HALIFAX – Search and rescue crews in the Halifax area are looking for a man who failed to return home from a mountain biking excursion.
RCMP say 30-year-old Marty Legere went biking alone Thursday around noon and was expected to return home around 4 p.m.
When he didn’t show up, police say his family went searching for him and found his vehicle at the end of Spider Lake Road in Waverley, north of Halifax.
They reported Legere missing to police around 8:40 p.m.
The Mounties say a police dog and the Department of Natural Resources are also assisting in the search.
