LONDON, Ont. – Provincial police in Oxford County say a 15-year-old boy has died from injuries he suffered after being thrown from a horse.

The OPP says John Miller of Norwich Township was riding the horse (on Milldale Road) on Monday when a car moved passed him, startling the animal.

The driver saw the horse rear up and throw the boy to the pavement.

The motorist stopped and called 911 and tried to help the teenager.

Police say the investigation is complete.
