RASCAL FLATTS – American country music group Rascal Flatts joins the conversation on the national edition of The Morning Show. Their studio albums have accounted for 26 singles, all of which charted Top 20 or higher on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, including 12 which reached #1 –  including “Bless the Broken Road” and “What Hurts the Most.” They are currently out with their nignth album Rewind.

ADAM SANDLER & DREW BARRYMORE – Hollywood stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore talk about their new romantic comedy Blended. The two have acted side-by-side in the movie The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Both are married with young daughters.

SOCIAL MEDIA COLD CASE – Toronto police Detective Sergeant Brian Borg started using social media this month to ask the public for help on his cold case files. Each day, Borg uses his twitter account to tweet details of cold case files for crimes committed on that day in years past. Toronto Police have 553 unsolved criminal cases that stretch all the way back to 1921. TORONTO SHOW ONLY

JOHN TORY’S TRANSIT PLAN – John Tory wants to use existing Metrolinx GO lines to get commuters moving in Toronto. The mayoral candidate released his “One Toronto Transit Plan” Tuesday which includes an all-day, two-way surface subway service from around Pearson Airport in the west-end of the city to all the way northeast to Unionville, Markham. TORONTO SHOW ONLY

ELECTION YOUTH PANEL – The Morning Show takes a different look at the Ontario election campaign from a youth perspective. We’ll have a panel of engaged young people to analyze their thoughts on the election thus far and how they are encouraging their peers to get the vote out. TORONTO SHOW ONLY

CHEF DANNY SMILES – Chef Danny Smiles is the runner-up in Season 3 of Top Chef Canada. Danny will represent Canada at the 14th annual S.Pellegrino cooking cup in Italy on June 13 and 14. The first S. Pellegrino Cooking Cup was in 2001. This year is the first time Canada is participating. TORONTO SHOW ONLY

THE FIGHT TO END CANCER – Fight to End Cancer founder Jennifer Huggins and boxer Brendan Malone joins us in-studio to talk about the 3rd annual Fight to End Cancer black-tie gala in support of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation this Saturday. A team of 10 men and women with no prior boxing experience have devoted the past six months into their boxing training to reach their team’s fundraising goal. TORONTO SHOW ONLY
