CALGARY- Calgary Police have launched an investigation, after a woman was attacked while walking along Macleod Trail.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, when a woman in her 20s was walking northbound at 10th Ave.
Five men approached her, and the woman was knocked to the ground, then physically and sexually assaulted. Her phone and other personal items were stolen, before the men ran away.
The victim was able to get help, and EMS transported her to a medical facility where she was treated for minor injuries. However, she left before police were able to speak with her.
One of the suspects is described as white, and about 35-years-old with a grey beard. Another man is described as white, about 35-years-old, with distinctive blue eyes.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
